Why Join Us? At our nursery, every day is an adventure! You'll be working in a playful, engaging environment where children’s development is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our nurturing team, you'll support young minds as they explore the world around them, make new discoveries, and grow into confident, happy individuals.
What You'll Do:
- Provide outstanding care and attention to the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children in our setting.
- Help create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive, play, and develop their unique skills.
- Work as part of a friendly, dedicated team, supporting each other to deliver the best outcomes for our little learners.
- Build meaningful relationships with parents and carers, ensuring strong communication and a true partnership in their child’s early years.
- Support the seniors with the daily routines.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging activities that cater to the interests and developmental stages of the children in your care.
- Keep records of children's progress, sharing these precious moments with their parents and carers.
- Safeguard the wellbeing of all children, adhering to our nursery’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Be a team player - pitch in where needed, whether that's prepping snacks, tidying up, or lending a hand during nursery events.
- Maintain our high standards of safety, hygiene, and care, and ensure every child feels calm, secure, and supported.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate Level 3 Early Years Educator who loves working with children and helping them flourish and is looking to make the next step up.
- Someone who values strong communication and enjoys building positive partnerships with parents and families.
- A flexible, friendly attitude and the willingness to get involved in the full nursery experience, including out-of-hours activities such as parents evenings and staff meetings.
- Experience in Forest School desirable, but not essential.
What You'll Get:
- The chance to make a real impact on children’s lives during their most important years of development.
- A supportive, fun, and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities for ongoing training and development to help you grow in your role.
- 50% discount on childcare when you’re working
